Nancy Oliver has spent most of her life writing and directing brilliant but obscure original works for the theater. She joined the staff of Six Feet Under in 2002 for the last three seasons of the show. She also spent a year as a producer for NBC's Windfall and is currently a supervising producer for Alan Ball's True Blood, an HBO series about southern vampires.
Lars and The Real Girl, written in 2001 and released in 2007, is her first feature film and she is currently under contract to Warner Brothers for her second, Handyman.
